I have spoken on local, regional, and national stages, both in person and virtually. These have included talks on censorship, on young adult literature, on mental health, and more. Find below a sample presentation given to high school students at Joliet Central High School for their district’s annual teen writing conference. Nearly 150 attendees heard about the ongoing attempts to censor writing and books and why their voices–even amid this–deserve to heard.
