I am always open to writing on the topics of censorship, feminism, mental health, young adult literature, and libraries. I do not have a formal education in journalism–I majored in English in college and took one of the school’s first courses that explored (& exploded!) the idea of traditional writing and writing forms. I like to think my writing does just that, taking pieces of formality that work, tossing what doesn’t, and making it factual, digestable, and enjoyable for readers. Deep dives, interviews, and service journalism can all work in harmony!
